Start your journey with 3 nights in Beijing,the bustling capital of China.Discover the secrets and the treasures of the Forbidden city, which was once home to the Emperor. Visit a less crowded part of the Great wall of China, one of the seven wonders. Weave your way through a classic hutong to gain an insight into the local culture.

 

Continue to Xi’an, capital of Shaanxi province and one of the oldest cities in China. It is also considered to be the starting point of the famous silk road trading route. Stay for 2 nights and explore the city wall, Muslim quarter, the famous terracotta warrior museum and enjoy a 

 

Fly to Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province known for its cuisine as well as giant panda breeding center. During your stay visit a Panda conservation center and get up close to a giant Panda. Soak up the breathtaking views from the summit of the Qingcheng Mountain exploring numerous ancient temples along the way. Qingcheng Mountain is considered as one of the most important Taoist centers and a world heritage site. Walk along the famous Kuan Zhai Alleyways, and get an insight into the local life and a taste of the famed Sichuan cuisine

Take a train to Dali, famous for traditional handicrafts and Bai architecture. Hike up the Cangshan mountains for incredible views. Next day, visit the artisan village Zhoucheng known for its batik fabric. Continue on to Shaxi, another authentic ancient town in a rural setting. Continue on to Lijiang, known for the Naxi culture and natural wonders that includes the Unesco heritage Tiger leaping gorge. Your trip ends and you fly to Shanghai for an onward journey.

Start your adventure in Beijing with a visit to the Tiananmen square, this square has been a witness to many public celebrations, ceremonies and demonstrations in the past hundred years. Walk to the iconic Forbidden city. It is one of the largest and completely preserved palace complexes made of wood in the world. Enjoy a private lesson of Tai Chi, there is plenty to see and experience in Beijing. 

 

Travel to the city of Xi’an, a city steeped in history. It is not only the former capital of ancient China, but was also the starting point of the famous ancient silk route. Explore the Terracotta museum with an expert guide. Walk over the best-preserved ancient wall of Xi’an. Head to the bustling Muslim quarter for some incredible food experience.

 

Fly to Guilin, located on the banks of Li river. Located in Southern China, this region has charming waterways and  ancient towns, vibrant green, tapered rice terraces, and towering karst formations. We are transferred to Yangshuo on our arrival. The best way to explore Yangshuo is by taking a bamboo raft ride on the Yulong river as well as hiking and biking along the river through different rural villages. Watch intricate paper fans being made and hand painted in Fuli village, best known for colorful fans and scroll paintings. Hike along the most scenic rice terraces, Dragon’s backbone. Dotted with ancient villages, it has many viewing platforms at different heights. 

 

Your trip ends after a visit to Shanghai, where you will also visit the second highest tower in the world from the top of the Shanghai observatory.
